Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

AI Planner (the web application at the homepage) is provided as an independent project. Data processing and user support contact: artsemstselmakhou@gmail.com.

2. What data we process

• Account: email address, name (if provided), password hash for email registration, session identifier after sign-in (via NextAuth cookie mechanism). For password registration the operator may enable manual account approval (approval time and admin are recorded in the database); by default access is granted immediately after sign-up.
• Planner content: tasks, tags, comments, in-task chat, attached images (screenshots), calendar event links — stored in the service database to provide product features.
• Technical data: standard server and hosting logs (e.g. IP address and request time) to the extent necessary for operation and security.

3. Calendar (Google and Yandex)

When connecting Google Calendar via OAuth, the application requests read access to the calendar (scope such as calendar.readonly). The refresh token is stored in encrypted form and used only to display events in the planner interface.

When connecting via CalDAV (Yandex or Google fallback), you provide CalDAV credentials; they are stored encrypted and used solely for calendar synchronization.

We do not sell calendar data and do not use it for advertising. You can disconnect the integration in the planner settings.

4. AI features

When using text parsing, screenshots, or in-task chat, fragments of your input may be sent to a language model provider (e.g. Groq API) to generate a response. Do not enter third-party personal data or information you are not willing to transmit over the network into such fields.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies required for application operation are used for sign-in and session persistence (including via NextAuth). Disabling cookies in your browser may make sign-in impossible.

6. Hosting and sub-processors

Data is processed on hosting infrastructure (e.g. Railway) and by related providers (database, email provider for confirmation emails, Google/Yandex OAuth providers, language model APIs). Transfers are made as part of service delivery and under those providers' agreements and policies.

7. Retention period

Data is retained as long as you have an account and use the service. Account and data deletion upon request can be arranged via the contact below; separate mandatory retention periods may apply under applicable law.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, or object to processing — within reasonable limits and subject to the service's technical capabilities. Use the support email for inquiries.

9. Policy changes

We may update this document; the current version is always available at https://ai-planner.dev/privacy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
